Josephine's Restaurant & Bar is located at Antwerp Zuid, near the Vlaamse and Waalse Kaai. The interior is vintage chic, and this creates a warm, homely atmosphere.

In the large bar Marc Mathieux serves you beautiful cocktails, great champers and its close cousins, wines by the glass and a nice beer selection. Specialties of the house are "Josephine's perfumed martinis”, delicious martinis that have been flavoured with among others apple-cinnamon, rosemary-ginger or lemongrass-grapefruit aromas.

Chef Marcellino Moortgat mostly cooks a classical-inspired Belgian/French cuisine with an international touch and likes to work with seasonal products. He also has a keen eye for the origin and pure taste of his products. For small eaters we also offer some main courses in smaller portions. Besides places in our restaurant, we also have two homely furnished cellars that can also be used for private dinner parties.

Our wine list is surprising, with wines in all price categories. For wine lovers, the wine list will offer a number of well-known hits for which you as a customer will only pay €30 on top of the purchase price.

On Friday and Saturday DJs will play jazz, funk, soul and feel good music.
On various Thursdays the Marco Migliore Duo will bring you live jazzy & easy listening piano and bass.
