The restoration is a tribute to the wood frame in Limburg.

Architects bvba Wyngaert Hasselt was commissioned for the restoration of the farm. In consultation with the client opted for a new job. The choice fell on a restaurant-brewery.

Work began in August 2007 and ended May 9, 2009.
During construction changed the shape of half-timbered building slowly. First, they removed earlier conversions and new construction. This gave the building to its original form. The completion of the work done in several stages: first the construction, then construction and finally, between the rear building.
With his new position, the building has a socio-historical significance: it re-evaluate the architectural heritage, and let the visitor in a spontaneous way of knowing the structure. The restored farmhouse has stressed that the timber in our region a very active role in the architectural landscape.
